Moira Gannon Denson, ASID, IDEC, IIDA, LEED AP is an Associate Professor of Interior Design at Marymount University and an NCIDQ- certified Interior Designer. She is the Winner of the 2016 Council of Interior Design Accreditation Merit Excellence Award and Washington Metro ASID 2015 W. Wilkoff Design for Humanity Award. Her essay “Empathic Design Matter” was published in the award Winning Textbook Health and Well-being for Interior Architecture ed. by Dak Kopec. With 10 + years professional experience in project delivery and interdisciplinary coordination of healthcare, workplace, hospitality and residential building types, she currently teaches undergraduate and graduate students in healthcare, sketching and rendering for ideation, and advanced graduate lectures in design research.
