Meng Kong is currently a Postdoc Fellow Researcher as well as the co-manager of Building Energy and Environmental System Laboratory (BEESL) at Syracuse University. He got his Ph.D. in 2017 and stay in Syracuse to continue his research. Since he joined BEESL in Syracuse, he has participated and led multiple types of research, supported by ASHRAE, U.S DOE, and some companies, on the indoor/outdoor environmental quality and building performance. His current studies are focused on the thermal comfort of the office workers and air quality in low-energy buildings. He is also working in a team for ASHRAE T.C. 5.10 Kitchen Ventilation to improve the communities’ knowledge on commercial kitchen air quality and emission control.
